PM says support to Russian non-energy exports to continue
MOSCOW, Feb 7 (PRIME) -- The Russian authorities will continue to support non–energy exports, and growth of industrial output should accelerate, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on at a meeting of the United Russia ruling party.
“I think that it is absolutely right…to keep the array of support measures that we have approved in order to give some aid to the non–energy sector,” he said, adding that the improvement of industry is a result of this support.
“We will further maintain the support measures through adjustments of mechanisms and introduction of new ways of stimulation (of industry).”
Still, Russia has to invest more in some industries, including machine-tool building, the metallurgic industry and others to improve economic growth figures, he added.
